Midnight Rainbow
In pitch black darkness, the rainbow spans at midnight...
Across the sky into the deep dark space...
Carrying two hearts to see the bright sight....
That love remains more than a one embrace.
Sharing moments of past, I find you there...
Wishing I had so much more to say...
But life is not always what I can bare...
Yet you remain there to this very day.
Is this love, is it really me...
Is this what I will always share?
Or will you send me away as you see...
Your inner beauty is what I care.
Span the rainbow into night...
See the colors that love holds close...
Know my heart keeps you in sight...
Sanity surrendered to what heart has chose.
So I now await the light of day...
The rainbow fades in life as light appears...
And leaves me here, to once again say...
I love you ever so much, my dear.
